The concert was quite lovely, and I'm really glad I was able to go
I managed to get some relatively decent pictures despite my camera complaining about battery while they played "Daydream Believer" and the possibly drunk women sitting in front of us
I also found out just how adorable of an old man Peter Tork is
I'll try to upload pictures that turned out well sometime tomorrow - I'm pooped from today!
(I apologize for the briefness of this journal, I just wanted to share a bit before I headed off to bed. I may update this tomorrow and go more into detail)
UPDATE
Whoosh! I've finally managed to post a good amount of the pictures from the concert. However, due to my lack of creative title/description-giving and forgetfulness of which picture went with which song, I posted more on my Tumblr.
As I mentioned, Peter is still one of the most adorable old men I can think of X3 He danced whilst singing "Your Auntie Grizelda," made little gestures here and there, and reassured myself that, indeed, he's probably my favourite Monkee :happbounce:
Mike and Micky were quite fabulous as well. Micky sang "Stepping Stone" with an extra pinch of sass which was quite lovely
I heard people shouting each of their names occasionally, and I thought about shouting out "PETER!", but I didn't :/ However, some of this name-shouting came from a voice right next to me shouting, "PAPA NEZ!", so I know my sister had enough courage to do so
Another thing that made me happy was, the fact that I haven't listened to all of the Monkees' music, I was able to sing along with girlwitharubbersoul and everyone else there for almost all of the songs
During short breaks in between songs, they'd play something on the screen behind them. For example, they started up the show with pieces of each Monkee's audition tapes, which was quite fun X3 Later on, they played Davy's performance of "Daddy's Song," which was very lovely to watch :'3
All in all, the concert was very, VERY fun, and I'm so glad we could come!

*Is Accidentally Tagged Twice*
(well, technically, thrice, but I may have to talk about the lovely tagger about that)
Hallo all you people out there! I seem to have a bad habit of popping in and out of here, don't I.. Heh heh..
Sorry about that. Life sure does happen a lot, doesn't it? As do school and other projects..
Anyroad, after piling through many deviations, messages, and such, it appears I've been tagged twice again!
So, without further ado..

Day of the Beb
Now, why I started calling Ian Marter "beb" or "the beb" I'll never know. It just sort of happened.
Anyroad, today is the birth/death day of Ian Marter, who, despite his wishes, is most well known as portraying Harry Sullivan (companion of the Fourth Doctor with Sarah Jane Smith for a short time) from Doctor Who. He died of a heart attack due to diabetes complications on his forty-second birthday and would have turned seventy today.
Which, is why, I've been calling today the "Day of the Beb".
I haven't done much for the occasion besides this journal and this video below.
(foof self-advertising sorry ;; I did work hard on it tho).

85 Tags and Counting
'Tis true - unless I've counted incorrectly, this is my 85th tag.

3. Choose 10 people, and put their icon on your journal. (..I may actually do this for once..)
[10 THINGS ABOUT ME (IF I CAN THINK OF 10 THINGS)]
1. I am currently making yet another video, this time for Harry Sullivan from Doctor Who, hopefully in time for the Day of the Beb (October 28th, Ian Marter's birth/death day)
2. My Fo
Big Finish's Sarah Jane Smith Audio Series
I just finished listening to the Sarah Jane Smith audio series from Big Finish Productions.
For anyone who might not be familiar with this, it's this audio series about some of Sarah's adventures that take place before "School Reunion". The first series of this series (I still don't know what terminology I should be using for these) was made/takes place in 2002, while the second series was made/takes place in 2006, ending weeks before "School Reunion" premiered.
I found them quite excellent, but, personally, am quite unsatisfied with how it ended. I was aware of a couple of major(ish?) spoilers before I started listening to the series, but
